Just like that my friends we are back with part two of general steps to building an amazing clothing line part 2. Part one was great but we going to go a little deeper into this thing. Again, I want to help inspirer the next great streetwear brand in one of you guys hopefully. I know it’s in someone out there. Design Your Clothing Line

Starting off part two with the fun stuff and that is designing your clothing line. Now maybe you have the knowledge on making clothes. So, you are off to a great start because you can just start off making samples at least. On the other hand, if you just have an eye for fashion you might want to hire a fashion designer. They will help you develop your sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes to help your manufacturers and suppliers see your vision.

Create a Brand Identity Online

Creating a brand identity online is a must for any business venture you have. You can build this online identity a few ways guys. One way is by building a website for your clothing brand. A place where your buyer can come and buy as well as stay in engaged with what you have going on. The next way is to have you brand on as many social media platforms as possible. This will help you reach as many buyers as possible. Let’s not forget it gives you the chance to showcase your designs.

Secure Funding

When it comes to securing funding for your clothing line. You will want to find out your financial requirements for your clothing line as well as explore funding options. some of these options are personal savings, loans, investors, and crowdfunding. In part one we talked about having a business plan. Part of a business plan is funding and where it will come from. You will want to have your financial documents in line. It should include your budget and cash flow projections, to support your funding applications for the business.

Set Up Manufacturing

Now when it comes to manufacturing you will have to decide whether you want to manufacture your clothing line locally or overseas. Whichever one you choose you will have to obtain samples from different manufacturers to assess their quality and reliability my friends. Remember in part one I said you want to have multiple suppliers just in case. When you find a manufacturer, you want to work with, it’s some things you’re going to want to do. You’re going to want to negotiate pricing, production timelines, and other terms in your contract my friends.
